These Terms of Service ('Terms') govern your use of the PlusOne Pro platform operated by PlusOne Pro ('Company', 'we', 'us'). By creating an account or using PlusOne Pro, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PlusOne Pro, you confirm you are at least 18 years old, have read and agree to these Terms, and have read and agree to our Privacy Policy.

2. Platform Description

PlusOne Pro is a marketplace where Members book PlusOne Pros — ID-approved people who are booked, by the hour, to attend events with them: weddings and formal events, corporate and work functions, concerts and shows, games, dinners and nights out.

IMPORTANT: PlusOne Pro is NOT a dating service, escort service, or adult entertainment platform. All interactions facilitated by PlusOne Pro must remain professional, lawful, and consistent with these Terms. Any use of the platform for sexual services, solicitation, or illegal activities will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to use PlusOne Pro
You must provide accurate identity information during registration
You must not be prohibited from using the platform under applicable law
Before a PlusOne Pro can appear in the catalog or accept a booking, a member of our team reviews a photo of their government-issued ID and a selfie and approves it. This confirms identity and age; it is not a background check and does not guarantee any user's conduct
Members are not currently required to complete identity verification

4. Member Obligations

Treat PlusOne Pros with respect and professionalism at all times
Only book PlusOne Pros for lawful, non-sexual purposes
Name a trusted contact — someone we can reach if something goes wrong during a booking — before your first booking, and keep it current
Honor booking commitments and the Refund Policy's cancellation schedule
Book and pay for all bookings — first and subsequent — through the platform. Exchanging contact information and connecting socially are permitted, but booking or paying off-platform is prohibited
Provide accurate booking details and location information
Leave honest reviews based on your actual experience

5. PlusOne Pro Obligations

Maintain accurate, current profile information, including an approved government ID and a trusted contact
Honor accepted bookings — cancellations negatively impact your standing
Treat Members professionally and respectfully at all times
Only offer lawful services consistent with platform categories
Accept payments exclusively through the PlusOne Pro platform
Respond to booking requests within the response window shown on the request: 24 hours, or 48 hours when the event is more than a month away, and never later than 2 hours before the start time. Requests not answered in time expire

6. Payments & Refunds

All payments processed by Stripe on behalf of PlusOne Pro
A Member's card is authorized when a booking request is sent and charged only when the Pro accepts. If the Pro declines or the request expires, the authorization is released and nothing is charged
For bookings starting more than 7 days out: a 25% deposit is charged when the Pro accepts, and the remaining balance is automatically charged to the Member's saved payment method 7 days before the booking. By completing checkout, the Member consents to this automatic charge
For bookings starting 7 days or less out: 100% of the booking price is charged when the Pro accepts
Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy, which applies one cancellation schedule to every booking, computed as percentages of the total booking price. Retained amounts are shared between the Pro and PlusOne Pro in proportion to the Pro's service amount and the platform fee
Full refund to the Member if: the Pro declines the request; the request expires unanswered; the Member cancels before the Pro responds; or the Pro cancels after accepting
Pro payouts are released 24 hours after booking completion
If something goes wrong, use Report Issue on the booking before the payout is released. Filing a report holds the Pro's payout until a member of our team has reviewed it. Issues reported after release are reviewed case-by-case
All bookings, first and subsequent, must be booked and paid through the platform. Off-platform booking or payment is strictly prohibited and grounds for termination. Exchanging contact information and social contact are permitted
PlusOne Pro charges a 15% platform fee on bookings, paid by the member. PlusOne Pros receive 100% of their stated service amount. Platform fees are subject to change with at least 30 days advance notice. Founding cohort Pros lock the 15% platform fee rate for life: future platform fee increases will never apply to them, for as long as their account remains in good standing and their founding status is active.
Founding status is earned by activity. A founding Member keeps founding status by completing a first booking within 60 days of finishing onboarding; a founding Pro keeps it by completing three bookings within 90 days of finishing onboarding. If the window passes without that activity, founding status is forfeited: the account stays active, and founder benefits (including the rate lock above) no longer apply. PlusOne Pro may offer a limited recovery window after forfeiture
Event ticket revenue: PlusOne Pro takes 10%, Pro keeps 90%

7. AI Chats

AI chat characters on PlusOne Pro are artificial intelligence — not real people
They are for conversation only and are subject to the Acceptable Use Policy exactly as bookings with human Pros are
Subscription plans, where offered, are billed monthly or annually as selected. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime in Settings, effective at the end of the current billing period
Cancel anytime — no refunds for partial billing periods

8. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

Use PlusOne Pro for sexual solicitation or escort services
Harass, threaten, or harm any user
Create fake profiles or impersonate others
Circumvent platform payments
Use the platform if under 18
Attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt the platform
Use PlusOne Pro for any illegal purpose
Share another user's personal information without consent

9. Reviews & Content

Reviews must be honest and based on real experiences
You may not post defamatory, false, or harassing reviews
PlusOne Pro reserves the right to remove reviews violating these Terms
By posting content, you grant PlusOne Pro a license to display it on the platform

10. Termination

PlusOne Pro may suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

Violation of these Terms
Fraudulent activity
Abusive behavior toward other users
Use of the platform for prohibited purposes

Reports are reviewed by a member of our team, who may issue a warning, suspend an account for 30 days (during which it cannot book, accept bookings, be listed, or sign in), or remove it permanently.

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account.

11. Limitation of Liability

PlusOne Pro facilitates connections between Members and Pros but is not responsible for:

The conduct of any user during or after a booking
Personal injury, property damage, or other harm arising from bookings
Accuracy of user-provided information

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlusOne Pro's liability is limited to the amount you paid in fees in the 3 months preceding your claim.

12. Dispute Resolution

We will attempt to resolve disputes within 30 days
If unresolved, disputes will be settled by binding arbitration
Class action waiver: you agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of PlusOne Pro after changes constitutes acceptance.
