Safety isn't a feature.
It's the foundation.
Every Pro is ID-approved by a person before they can be booked. Every payment runs through Stripe and is held until the booking is over. Every report is read by a person. Here's exactly what that means — and what we don't do yet.
Who's on the platform
Before a Pro can appear in the catalog or accept a booking, a person on our team reviews a photo of their government ID and a selfie, and approves it. Members sign up with a verified email. Both sides name a trusted contact — someone we can reach if something goes wrong during a booking.
🆔 ID review for every Pro
Government-issued photo ID plus a selfie, reviewed by hand. Until it's approved, a Pro isn't listed and can't accept a booking.
🆘 A trusted contact on both sides
Pros can't go live and members can't book without naming someone we can reach if something goes wrong. If a report comes in, our team sees it.
🪪 What we don't do yet
We don't run criminal background checks, and members aren't ID-checked today. ID review confirms who someone is and that they're an adult — nothing more, and we'd rather say so.
Tools in every booking
Safety isn't just who's on the platform — it's what you can do from inside a booking.
Report from any booking
Report Issue on a booking puts it in front of our team, holds the Pro's payout, and shows us both people's trusted contacts while we look into it.
Block from any profile
One tap on any profile or booking. A blocked person can't message you or book you, and you won't see them while browsing. Pair it with a report and a person looks at why.
Money that waits
Your card is charged only when the Pro accepts, and the Pro isn't paid until 24 hours after the booking ends — so there's always time to raise a problem first.
In-app messaging only
You and your Pro message inside the app. Nobody has to hand over a phone number or email before they're comfortable.
Secure payments
No cash hand-offs. Every payment runs through Stripe.
- Stripe-secured. Card details never touch our servers. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified — the highest payment industry standard.
- Authorized, not charged. Your card is authorized when you book, but funds aren't captured until your Pro accepts. If they decline, you're not charged. More than a week out, it's a 25% deposit first; inside a week, the full amount.
- Held until the booking ends. Payouts to Pros release 24 hours after the booking ends, so you have time to flag any issue before money moves.
- A report holds the money. If something goes wrong, Report Issue on the booking stops the payout until a person has looked. We mediate — you're not stuck arguing with the Pro directly.
Help, with a person behind it
The Help Center assistant answers questions about bookings and payments right away. Anything it can't answer — and every report — goes to a person.

💬 Help from any booking
Instant answers in the Help Center, and Report an Issue from settings or any booking screen.
🚨 If you're in danger
Call local emergency services first. Then report the booking — the payout is held and our team sees both people's details and trusted contacts.
📞 Real escalation paths
A person reviews every report and can refund in part or in full, hold or release the payout, and warn, suspend or remove an account.
Community accountability
Trust is mutual. Both sides rate each other after every booking, and bad actors leave the platform.
- Two-way reviews. Members review Pros. Pros review members. Reviews become visible once both are in, so neither is written in reaction to the other.
- Block & report. One-tap block from any profile or booking. Every report is read by a person.
- AUP enforcement. Our Acceptable Use Policy is strict — harassment, discrimination, soliciting outside the platform, and any romantic or sexual context lead to a warning, suspension or removal.
- Reviewed by a person, every time. Warnings, suspensions and removals are decided by someone on our team after reading the report — never by an algorithm.
Our commitments to you
Safety is never 'done.' We commit to:
- Transparent policies. Read our Community Guidelines, Acceptable Use Policy, and Terms of Service anytime. They're public.
- Only what's built. This page describes what exists today, not what's planned. When we add something — and we will — it shows up here after it ships, not before.
- Founder accountability. Our founder personally reviews every escalated incident in the first 12 months. No hiding behind layers.
