How member pricing works
PlusOne Pros set their own hourly rates. You pay a 15% platform fee on top — that's it. The fee covers payments, safety, dispute resolution, and platform operations.
Founding Members lock the 15% rate forever — even if we raise platform fees in the future, you're grandfathered in for life.
Example: pro charges $100/hr → you pay $115/hr. Pro receives $100. Founding Members pay the same $115 forever.
- Report Issue holds the Pro's payout until a person has reviewed it
- Full refund if your Pro cancels

A subscription is to one AI character. It's billed by Stripe, renews monthly or annually as you choose, and can be cancelled anytime in Settings — it ends at the close of the billing period.
- AI characters are AI, not people, and follow the same Acceptable Use Policy as everything else here
- Your first 10 messages with each character are free
- The price is shown before you pay, on the character's page
Limited Cohort
Founder Benefits — Locked for Life
First 1,000 Members and first 100 Pros. Once we hit those caps, founder benefits go away forever.
Founder status is kept by showing up: a founding member completes their first booking within 60 days of finishing setup, a founding Pro completes three bookings within 90 days. Miss the window and founding status is forfeited — the account stays active, the founder benefits don't.

How pro earnings work
Set your own hourly rate. Members pay you that rate plus a 15% platform fee. The fee covers our operations — you don't pay it. You keep 100% of your published rate. Always.
Founding Pros are forever immune to commission. If we ever add a pro-side fee in the future, Founding Pros are exempt for life.
