PlusOne Pro ('we', 'us', or 'our') operates the PlusOne Pro platform at plusonepro.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our services. By using PlusOne Pro, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email, date of birth, phone number, gender
Profile information: photos, bio, location (city/state), service preferences
Payment information: processed by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers
Booking information: booking history, communications, reviews, and records of your acceptance of platform terms (version and timestamp)
Identity verification: government ID, if you choose to complete identity verification (processed by third-party providers) — we store your verification status and display an ID Verified badge on verified accounts
Usage data: pages visited, features used, device type, IP address
Location data: your profile location is city and state. We collect precise location (coordinates) when you set your location for distance-based matching (25–50 mile radius), and when you choose to share your live location with a trusted contact during a booking
Trusted contact information: the name and contact details of a trusted contact you designate for safety features — used only for safety notifications (location sharing, panic alerts, and check-ins). Please make sure you have your contact's permission before adding them

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account
To facilitate bookings between Members and PlusOne Pros
To process payments and payouts via Stripe
To verify the identity of users who choose to complete identity verification, and to display verification badges
To send transactional emails (booking confirmations, payout notifications)
To send platform updates and founding member communications (you can opt out)
To improve the platform and personalize your experience
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
To operate AI PlusOne features — your conversations with AI PlusOne features are processed to operate those features

3. How We Share Your Information

With other users: Members see Pro profiles (name, photos, bio, ratings). Pros see Member profiles when a booking is requested.
With Stripe: Payment processing and payout management. Stripe's privacy policy applies.
With identity verification providers: identity verification only.
With Base44: Our platform infrastructure provider.
With law enforcement: When required by law or to protect safety.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We do not share your information with advertisers.

4. Data Retention

Active account data: retained while your account is active
Booking records: retained for 7 years for legal and financial compliance
Deleted accounts: personal data removed within 30 days of account deletion, except booking and transaction audit records, which we retain for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, safety, and legal compliance (see booking records above)

5. Your Rights

Access: Request a copy of your personal data
Correction: Update inaccurate information via your profile settings
Deletion: Delete your account and associated data via Settings → Delete Account
Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link
Data portability: Request your data in a portable format by contacting us

We use analytics tools to understand platform usage

Disabling cookies may affect platform functionality

7. Children's Privacy

PlusOne Pro is strictly for users 18 years of age or older
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18
If we discover a user is under 18, their account will be immediately terminated

8. Security

We use industry-standard encryption and security practices
Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on our servers
Identity verification data is encrypted and access-controlled
No security system is 100% secure — use strong passwords and protect your account

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically
We will notify you of material changes via email
Continued use of PlusOne Pro after changes constitutes acceptance
