Community Guidelines
PlusOne Pro — Community Guidelines
Effective: August 5, 2026 Version: 1.1
PlusOne Pro is a marketplace for human connection — real people, in real places, for real moments. These guidelines describe how we expect everyone on the platform — members and PlusOne Pros — to engage with one another. Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or removal under our Acceptable Use Policy.
Respect
Treat every person on the platform with basic human dignity. Disagreement is fine. Disrespect is not.
- Use respectful language in messages, profiles, reviews, and during bookings
- Honor stated pronouns
- Do not use slurs, harassment, or threatening language under any circumstances
- Do not pressure another person about their boundaries — accept "no"
Honesty
Be who you say you are.
- Profile photos must be of you, recent (within 12 months), and unfiltered to the point of misrepresentation
- Bios should reflect your actual interests, experience, and conversation style
- Pros must accurately describe their service offerings, rates, and availability
- Members must accurately describe the event, location, and expectations when booking
- Reviews must be honest accounts of what actually happened
Misrepresentation — fake photos, false credentials, exaggerated reviews — undermines the trust this entire platform runs on. We treat it seriously.
Communication
Clarity prevents conflict.
- Discuss expectations before the booking: what's the event, who else will be there, what's the dress code, how long is it
- Communicate during the booking: change of plans, running late, need to step away
- Follow up after the booking: thank-you message, review submission, any concerns
If something feels unclear, ask. If something feels off, say so. Most issues on PlusOne Pro come from miscommunication, not malice.
Safety First
PlusOne Pro events happen in person. Real-world risk is real.
Before every booking:
- Verify the event details — location, time, attendees
- Share your live location with a trusted contact (built into the app)
- Have a check-in plan with someone who knows where you'll be
- Charge your phone
During a booking:
- Trust your gut. If something feels wrong, it probably is.
- Use the in-app panic button if you feel unsafe — it notifies your trusted contact and creates a priority safety report to PlusOne Pro. In an emergency, always call 911 first.
- You are never obligated to stay in a booking that feels unsafe. If you leave a booking for safety reasons, tell us — report it through the app so we can review what happened, including any payment adjustments.
- Call 911 for genuine emergencies before contacting PlusOne Pro
After a booking:
- Complete the post-booking check-in
- Submit a review honestly
- Report any AUP violations or safety concerns
PlusOne Pro provides safety tools. Use them.
Authenticity
PlusOne Pro is built on the premise that real human connection is irreplaceable. We don't compete with AI relationships, polished feeds, or curated personas.
- Be yourself in profiles, messages, and bookings
- Honor your real comfort zone, not a performance of one
- Engage with members and Pros as the people they are, not the personas they project
- Allow your platform experience to be imperfect and human
The platform exists for people, not for perfection.
Zero Tolerance
The following behaviors will typically result in immediate, permanent removal; we reserve the right to remove any account without prior warning:
- Solicitation of sexual, romantic, or escort-style engagements
- Solicitation of, or attempted contact with, minors in any context
- Threats of violence or physical harm
- Stalking, doxing, or coordinated harassment
- Fraud, identity theft, or financial exploitation
- Hate speech or discrimination based on protected categories
- Sharing intimate images without consent
- Drug or weapons solicitation
These behaviors may also be reported to law enforcement.
Reporting
If you witness or experience a violation:
- Urgent (during a booking): in an emergency, always call 911 first. The in-app panic button notifies your trusted contact and creates a priority safety report to PlusOne Pro.
- Post-booking: "Report" button on the booking detail or user profile
- Email: safety@plusonepro.app
We prioritize reports involving safety and review all reports as promptly as we can. We do not retaliate against good-faith reporters.
Appeals
If you receive an enforcement action and believe it's incorrect, email appeals@plusonepro.app within 14 days. We review every appeal in good faith — where practicable, by a team member not involved in the original decision. The decision on appeal is final.
Why This Matters
We are building the marketplace we wish existed. That requires every user to bring the standard up — not just the Pros, not just the moderators, every member, every booking, every interaction.
PlusOne Pro works because we hold each other to the rule, and the rule has to be the rule. Welcome.
